Web Infrastructure Engineer
About The Position
Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. is a global financial services company seeking a Web Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in web infrastructure or systems engineering fields. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multi-national team focused on simplifying and enhancing financial opportunities using state-of-the-art technology. Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in web infrastructure or systems engineering
- Deep technical knowledge of Linux systems, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and cyber security fundamentals
- Experience with Akamai or similar CDN services
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Akamai security products a big plus (Akamai WAF, CDN etc.)
- Knowledge of Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, APM)
- Web application security expertise
- Experience in a regulated industry
- Cloud infrastructure experience a plus but not required (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
