About The Position

Mittera is seeking experienced Web First Press Operators to operate web press machines and auxiliary equipment. This leadership role helps direct press team members’ work activities to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals. The operator also supports crew development, safety, teamwork, and equipment upkeep. Mittera provides commercial and digital printing, finishing, graphic design, data analytics, direct mail processing, and fulfillment services.

Requirements

• Preferred experience of 3–5+ years as a multicolor web press operator.
• Ability to lead and foster team members’ growth and development.
• Knowledge of press setup and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and quality- and safety-oriented.
• Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain web presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Guide the crew to meet and exceed production standards.
• Train and develop team members on an ongoing basis.
• Promote, enforce, and sustain safety practices, and identify opportunities to improve operations.
• Assist supervisors by providing feedback for employee evaluations.
• Facilitate teamwork within crews and between shifts.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
