About The Position

The Early Career Extern supports assignments within a line of business or division while gaining exposure to the broader organization. Externs participate in day-to-day activities and project work, contributing to larger initiatives as team members and completing smaller projects and tasks independently. The role includes working responsibly within the Bank’s risk appetite, following policies and procedures, raising concerns, and acting in ways that support positive experiences for customers and colleagues. The position is full-time and scheduled for May 2027 through August 2027 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Requirements

• Be a rising sophomore or junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a strong academic record.
• Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Have customer service skills and the ability to respond to internal and/or external requests.
• Have strong analytical skills.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
• Be able to multitask and remain flexible.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and able to learn additional software applications as required.
• Be capable of managing one's time to meet established deadlines.
• Demonstrate initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments and projects as determined by leadership.
• Use project management skills to manage and report on assignment and project status.
• Build a network of contacts within the assigned line of business or division and across the organization.
