About The Position

The Wealth Advisor, Guided Investing, focuses on deepening relationships with an established client base and organically growing the practice through referrals. The role uses Mercer Advisors’ in-house specialists to help clients achieve their financial goals. Advisors focus on clients rather than sales, using advanced financial-planning and investment knowledge and relationship skills to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions. They are supported by a technology platform and specialists in portfolio management, financial planning, tax, and estate planning. This position partners with clients to identify goals, assess their financial circumstances, and develop recommendations. It also involves explaining complex financial solutions, retaining clients through lasting relationships, leveraging Mercer’s tax, estate-planning, insurance, and other services, and meeting fiduciary, compliance, regulatory, and client-care obligations. The role is based in a professional office or a dedicated home-office workspace free of interruptions. Basic technology will be provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional early or late hours to meet business needs. Travel of up to 20% may be required for client meetings and company training. The role involves routinely sitting and standing; lifting over 10 pounds is not required. Annualized total expected cash compensation, including base salary and annual bonus, is $85,000–$110,000. Additional cash bonuses and other incentive compensation may be available.
