About The Position

SERVPRO of Plant City/NE Hillsborough/Tampa East Central is hiring a full-time Crew Chief to lead water, fire, mold, and storm restoration projects from start to finish. The role leads crews on residential and commercial projects, manages job sites, performs restoration work, and coordinates with project managers, supervisors, customers, and team members to keep work safe, efficient, and on schedule. The Crew Chief also prepares work areas, sets up and maintains equipment and vehicles, documents jobs, and follows company safety policies and industry best practices. This is a hands-on position requiring physical work in varied job-site conditions, including lifting, climbing, working at heights and in confined spaces, and local travel with occasional out-of-state travel when business needs require. After-hours, weekend, and emergency on-call work may be needed. Candidates must pass a background check and meet company driving requirements.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work after-hours, weekends, and emergency on-call shifts when needed.
Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
Comfortable working around cleaning agents, restoration equipment, and job-site conditions.
Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state when business needs require.
Must successfully pass a background check and meet company driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

Restoration, mitigation, construction, or demolition experience preferred.
Previous leadership or crew supervision experience is a plus.
IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, or AMRT preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead crews on residential and commercial restoration projects.
Manage job sites to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to SERVPRO standards.
Perform water mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation, demolition, and other restoration services.
Load, maintain, and organize company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
Prepare work areas and set up equipment for each project.
Communicate with Project Managers, Supervisors, customers, and team members to keep projects on schedule.
Complete job documentation and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
Follow company safety policies and industry best practices.
