About The Position

SERVPRO of Ft. Lauderdale is hiring a full-time Crew Chief to lead water, fire, mold, and storm restoration projects from start to finish. The role involves hands-on restoration work and crew leadership on residential and commercial projects, with responsibility for safe, efficient, high-quality work that meets SERVPRO standards. The Crew Chief coordinates with project managers, supervisors, customers, and team members to keep projects on schedule, and completes job documentation while maintaining a clean, professional work environment. The position may require after-hours, weekend, emergency on-call, local travel, and occasional out-of-state work.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work after-hours, weekends, and emergency on-call shifts when needed.
Must successfully pass a background check and meet company driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

Restoration, mitigation, construction, or demolition experience.
Previous leadership or crew supervision experience.
IICRC certifications, such as WRT, ASD, or AMRT.

Responsibilities

Lead crews on residential and commercial restoration projects.
Manage job sites and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to SERVPRO standards.
Perform water mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation, demolition, and other restoration services.
Load, maintain, and organize company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
Prepare work areas and set up equipment for each project.
Communicate with Project Managers, Supervisors, customers, and team members to keep projects on schedule.
Complete job documentation and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
Follow company safety policies and industry best practices.
