About The Position

SERVPRO Team Warnecki is seeking a motivated, dependable, and experienced Restoration Crew Chief to lead field technicians and deliver high-quality restoration services. The role covers restoration work for water and fire damage, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, and other specialty restoration services for homeowners and businesses. The Crew Chief performs hands-on restoration work, leads and trains technicians, maintains safety and quality standards, and communicates with customers and management. The position is full-time, pays $20–$25 per hour based on experience, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for emergency response and on-call assignments.

Requirements

Previous experience in restoration, water mitigation, construction, cleaning, or related fieldwork.
Knowledge of water extraction, drying equipment, demolition, and restoration procedures.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead by example and work effectively with a team.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to participate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces.
Ability to perform repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions, including environments requiring specialized PPE.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading crews or supervising field technicians.
IICRC certifications, particularly WRT and ASD.
Experience with SERVPRO systems and job documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead daily restoration activities involving water, fire, mold, biohazard, and other property damage.
Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, cleaning, and restoration services.
Set up, operate, and monitor restoration equipment.
Ensure proper containment, PPE, cleaning, and disposal procedures are followed.
Monitor job progress and communicate updates to the Restoration Manager.
Complete accurate job documentation, photos, moisture readings, and required system updates.
Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies.
Respond to emergency restoration calls as assigned.
Direct and support Restoration Technicians during daily operations.
Assign tasks and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Train new technicians on restoration procedures, equipment, and safety practices.
Identify job site concerns and communicate them promptly to management.
Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and customers.
Explain restoration activities and provide updates on job progress.
Address customer questions and escalate concerns when necessary.
Represent SERVPRO Team Warnecki with professionalism and respect.
