About The Position

ServiceMaster DSI is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Crew Chief leads residential and commercial restoration projects, overseeing fire and water damage cleanup from start to finish. The role coordinates on-site operations, ensures quality workmanship, and guides the team in restoring properties safely and efficiently. Assignments may include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism cleanup, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning. The Crew Chief also directs, assists, and supervises Restoration Technicians assigned to projects.

The position pays $22–$25 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with overtime opportunities. Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous restoration experience.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Ability to move and/or lift 50 pounds or more.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification from IICRC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, quality completion of assigned restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
• Direct, assist, and supervise Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers assigned to projects by the Project Manager.
• Evaluate the competence and quality of Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers.
• Support the continued development of the knowledge and skills of Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers through training.
• Ensure the productivity of assigned Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers.
• Ensure required restoration project documentation, including forms and photo documentation, is completed according to established protocols.
• Maintain excellent customer communication and relations.
• Perform other duties as required, including duties outside the scope of normal job duties.
