About The Position

SERVPRO of Plant City/NE Hillsborough/Tampa East Central is seeking a dependable, motivated Crew Chief to lead water, fire, mold, and storm restoration projects from start to finish. The role involves hands-on crew leadership, job-site oversight, restoration work, equipment and vehicle upkeep, customer and team communication, and documentation. The Crew Chief is expected to deliver quality work, follow safety policies and industry best practices, and maintain a clean, professional work environment. The position is full-time and offers an immediate hire opportunity. The work supports residential and commercial customers recovering from disasters. Local travel and occasional out-of-state travel may be required when business needs dictate. The role requires physical work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces, as well as availability for after-hours, weekend, and emergency on-call shifts when needed.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work after-hours, weekends, and emergency on-call shifts when needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
Comfort working around cleaning agents, restoration equipment, and job-site conditions.
Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state when business needs require.
Must successfully pass a background check and meet company driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

Restoration, mitigation, construction, or demolition experience preferred.
Previous leadership or crew supervision experience is a plus.
IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, or AMRT preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead crews on residential and commercial restoration projects.
Manage job sites to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to SERVPRO standards.
Perform water mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation, demolition, and other restoration services.
Load, maintain, and organize company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
Prepare work areas and set up equipment for each project.
Communicate with Project Managers, Supervisors, customers, and team members to keep projects on schedule.
Complete job documentation and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
Follow company safety policies and industry best practices.
