About The Position

SERVPRO of North East Chester County is hiring a Water Damage Restoration Technician in Tullytown. No experience is needed, and training is provided. The technician prepares work areas, sets up project staging and equipment, performs production processes as directed, communicates with management and other technicians, and ensures the jobsite is clean and orderly at the end of the job. The role supports SERVPRO’s mission of repairing and restoring homes and businesses and making property damage “Like it never even happened®.” Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. Each SERVPRO franchise is independently owned and operated, and its employees are hired and supervised by the franchise.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.

Responsibilities

Prepare rooms and areas for work activities.
Set up the staging area and equipment for each project.
Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
Perform production processes as directed.
Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
Leave the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
