About The Position
SERVPRO is seeking an experienced Water Damage Restoration Technician to provide on-site assistance restoring properties affected by water, fire, and storm damage. The work involves hands-on cleanup and restoration, interaction with supervisors and customers, and opportunities for career growth in the disaster restoration industry. The role offers stable year-round work and potential advancement to Lead Technician, Project Manager, or Estimator. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an additional after-hours emergency service rotation.
Requirements
- Previous water damage restoration experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
- Comfort working in physically demanding environments.
- Customer service skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to work occasional on-call emergency hours.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency damage calls and help restore properties.
- Perform water extraction and flood cleanup.
- Set up drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Clean up fire and smoke damage.
- Remove damaged drywall, flooring, and other materials.
- Monitor drying progress.
- Take photos and document work.
- Communicate with customers and supervisors.
