About The Position

Rainbow International of Cincinnati is seeking a motivated, hardworking Restoration Technician to join its team in Anderson Township, Ohio. No prior restoration or construction experience is required; training is provided. The role supports restoration work for residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, and smoke damage, as well as mold and odor issues. It involves equipment setup and monitoring, water extraction, debris removal, structural drying, job documentation, customer communication, and equipment and vehicle upkeep. The position requires physical work, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and a flexible schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends. Compensation is $18.00–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

No prior restoration or construction experience is necessary; training is provided.
Be reliable and punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varied environments.
Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Assist with water, fire, and smoke damage restoration on residential and commercial properties.
Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
Perform water extraction, debris removal, and structural drying procedures.
Support mold remediation and odor removal processes under technician supervision.
Document job site conditions with photos and written notes for project records.
Communicate professionally with customers during on-site visits to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and company vehicles.
