About The Position

Performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce windows either in Vinyl or Aluminum plants by performing the following duties. This role involves removing glass from A-Frame Cart or Rack, setting glass on the conveyor belt of a washer, and picking up specific LowE glass to run through an edge delete table before setting it on the washer conveyor. The position requires changing water and air filters on the washer as needed, flushing water tanks at the end of each shift/day, and testing the LowE detector at the beginning of each shift. The Washer Loader also delivers carts to the Glass Washer, ensures equipment is operable and maintained, and may be required to work at different work stations or in environments where tasks change as varying models of product are produced. Cleaning of equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures is also a responsibility. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

Removes glass from A-Frame Cart or Rack
Sets glass on conveyor belt of washer
Picks up specific LowE glass and runs all four sides through an edge delete table before setting on washer conveyor
Changes the water filters on the washer as needed
Flushes the water tanks at the end of each shift/day
Changes the air filters on the washer as needed
Tests the LowE detector at the beginning of each shift
Delivers carts to Glass Washer
Ensures that equipment used is operable and maintained
May be required to works at different work stations as production needs require
Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced
Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures
May be required to work overtime as business needs require
