About The Position

The Wash Aisle Operator processes soiled textiles through washing and drying by loading and unloading equipment, monitoring processes, and transporting textiles to the next phase of production. The role supports production flow in an industrial laundry facility and reports to the Production Manager. The operator works as part of a team and may perform different tasks according to daily operational needs. The work involves physical activity throughout the shift and may include exposure to temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust. Soiled textiles come from customers such as restaurants, hotels, medical facilities, and shops. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the work shift, including standing and walking for extended periods, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling carts or bins, grasping and handling textiles, lifting up to 25 pounds, and stooping or bending.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job for the entire shift.
Work as part of a team in a production environment.
Flexibility to perform different tasks within the team based on daily operational needs.
Successful completion of drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry processing equipment.
Monitor washing and drying cycles and input required data into automated washing systems.
Maintain an efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next stage of production.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
Follow safety procedures and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Support production flow and work with the team, flexibly performing different tasks based on daily operational needs.
