About The Position

The Wash Aisle Operator processes soiled textiles through washing and drying by loading and unloading equipment, monitoring processes, and transporting textiles to the next phase of production. The role supports production flow in an industrial laundry facility and reports to the Production Manager.

The operator works as part of a team and may perform different tasks based on daily operational needs. Soiled textiles come from customers including restaurants, hotels, medical facilities, and shops. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening.

Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach overhead, push and pull carts or bins, grasp and handle textiles, lift up to 25 pounds, and stoop or bend.
• Successful completion of drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry processing equipment.
• Monitor washing and drying cycles and input required data into automated washing systems.
• Maintain an efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next production stage.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Support production flow and work as part of a team in a production environment.
• Flexibly perform different team tasks based on daily operational needs.
