Wash Aisle Operator
About The Position
The Wash Aisle Operator processes soiled textiles through the washing and drying stages by loading and unloading textiles into equipment, monitoring processes, and transporting textiles to the next phase of production. The role reports to the Production Manager and supports production flow in an industrial laundry facility. Soiled textiles come from a variety of customers, including restaurants, hotels, medical facilities, and shops. The position requires physical work throughout the shift, including extended periods of standing and walking, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling carts or bins, handling textiles, lifting up to 25 pounds, and stooping or bending. Production areas may involve temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the work shift, including extended standing and walking, overhead reaching, pushing and pulling carts or bins, grasping and handling textiles, lifting up to 25 pounds, and stooping or bending.

- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry processing equipment.
- Monitor washing and drying cycles and input required data into automated washing systems.
- Maintain an efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next stage of production.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
- Follow safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support production flow and work as part of a team in a production environment.
- Flexibly perform different tasks within the team based on daily operational needs.
