About The Position

The Wash Aisle Operator processes soiled textiles through the washing and drying stages by loading and unloading equipment, monitoring processes, and transporting textiles to the next phase of production. The role supports production flow and works as part of a team in an industrial laundry environment. The position reports to the Production Manager. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening.

Requirements

Work as part of a team in a production environment.
Be flexible to perform different tasks based on daily operational needs.
Be able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift, including standing and walking for extended periods, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling carts or bins, grasping and handling textiles, lifting up to 25 pounds, and stooping or bending.
Successfully complete drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry processing equipment.
Monitor washing and drying cycles and enter required data into automated washing systems.
Maintain an efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next production stage.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
Follow safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support production flow and perform different team tasks based on daily operational needs.
