About The Position
Quinn Company, a Caterpillar dealership founded in 1919, is hiring a Warranty Analyst in Fresno, California. The company sells, services, and rents new and used construction, agricultural, and material handling equipment, as well as diesel and natural gas engines. The Warranty Analyst processes and administers manufacturer warranties. Starting wages are $22.00–$25.00, depending on experience and education. Quinn Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Review warranty jobs, write claims, and update the tracking system.
- Process claims and settlements.
- Enter SIMS (Service Information Management System) reports into the computer.
- Prepare parts return requests and distribute them to the appropriate location and department.
- Review warranty registrations to verify accuracy.
- Compile warranty analysis reports to monitor warranty dollars spent.
- Prepare monthly warranty reports for Business Units.
- Prepare monthly service operation reports.
- Maintain records of service letters.
- Act as a resource for warranty information and maintain good working relationships with Parts, Service, Accounting, and Sales.
