About The Position

The Warehouser/Material Handler moves products such as Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos through the warehouse accurately and carefully so stores receive the correct products. The role includes loading and unloading pallets and individual cases, selecting cases for orders using required technology, operating a forklift after training and certification, loading trailers, and completing housekeeping and sanitation tasks.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role spent on the move for most of the shift, with frequent lifting, bending, and moving products. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with three second-shift days from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and two third-shift days from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The listed pay is $26.51 per hour. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
• Must be able to lift 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access plant areas.
• Must be willing and able to work in extreme temperatures, humidity, and areas with hazardous or loud equipment and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
• Pick the appropriate cases for orders using required technology.
• Operate a forklift safely after receiving training and obtaining certification.
• Load trailers using carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
• Maintain general housekeeping and perform required sanitation tasks.
