About The Position

The Warehouseman receives, inspects, stores, tracks, and dispatches materials, plant supplies, tools, and equipment. The role supports order fulfillment by processing pick lists, locating and preparing materials, and packing orders for timely delivery. It also maintains inventory records, assists with audits, and helps keep the warehouse safe and organized. The Warehouseman operates warehouse equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and similar equipment, to move and organize materials.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and vehicles, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to receive, move, store, organize, and dispatch materials and equipment.
• Ability to track and record inventory accurately.
• Ability to follow company safety policies and applicable health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming deliveries and trucks; inspect materials and items for damage or discrepancies.
• Move stock to appropriate storage locations and organize inventory in designated areas.
• Receive and process pick lists, locate items, prepare materials, and pack orders for timely delivery.
• Log incoming and outgoing stock and track stock levels using scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and other inventory activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct inventories.
• Load supplies, tools, and equipment for dispatch.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and similar warehouse equipment and vehicles safely.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; address safety hazards and follow company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Keep logs and assist in preparing reports.
• Ensure materials are properly received, moved, stocked, accounted for, and protected.
