About The Position

Uploads and stocks materials, including plant supplies, tools, and equipment, and loads items for dispatch. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment. Ensures materials are properly received, moved, stocked, accounted for, and protected. Conducts inventories, maintains logs, and assists in preparing reports. The role also includes receiving and storing deliveries, fulfilling orders, controlling inventory, maintaining warehouse safety and upkeep, and safely operating warehouse equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

Ability to safely handle and operate warehouse equipment and vehicles, including pallet jacks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

Unload incoming deliveries and trucks; inspect materials and items for damage or discrepancies.
Move stock to suitable storage locations and organize inventory in designated areas.
Receive and process pick lists, locate items, prepare materials, and accurately pack orders for timely delivery.
Log incoming and outgoing stock and track stock levels using scanners or Warehouse Management Systems.
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and other inventories; maintain accurate inventory records.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; address safety hazards and follow company safety policies and health and safety regulations.
Safely operate warehouse equipment and vehicles, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes, to move and organize materials.
Load supplies, tools, and equipment for dispatch.
Maintain logs and assist in preparing reports.
Ensure materials are properly received, moved, stocked, accounted for, and protected.
