About The Position

The Warehouseman/Courier performs warehouse and stocking work and uses a variety of equipment to retrieve and stock supplies. The position also involves operating a forklift and a 2-ton truck and communicating with employees, management, and customers. Applicants must have a current Alabama driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse and/or stocking-related experience.
• Current Alabama driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to form effective working relationships with a variety of employees, management, and customers.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Verbal communication and hearing ability to communicate with a multitude of customers.
• Ability to meet the attendance requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, squatting, and overhead reaching; climb ladders 15 to 20 times per day; push carts weighing more than 200 pounds; walk and stand considerably; and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Visual acuity and physical mobility necessary to operate a forklift and 2-ton truck.
