About The Position

The Warehouse Zone Manager works in the warehouse supporting retail and dining operations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The role oversees inventory control and distribution, ensures compliance with delivery and merchandise-movement rules, maintains warehouse safety and appearance, and supervises warehouse staff. The position requires coordination with the Assistant General Manager, vendors, airport staff, Associates, and fellow Zone Managers. It also includes accurate use of company equipment and inventory processes, adherence to security and food-safety procedures, and timely escalation of inventory discrepancies or issues.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and partner with the Assistant General Manager, vendors, and airport staff to ensure compliance with rules and regulations for deliveries and movement of merchandise throughout the airport platform.
• Provide customer service through efficient inventory-control processes and distribution.
• Use company-issued tools and resources properly and in accordance with workplace security practices.
• Create and maintain good working relationships with Associates and fellow Zone Managers.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and a safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, housekeeping, and maintenance standards.
• Conduct receiving, cycle counts, product returns, and transfer transactions accurately using handheld or company equipment.
• Complete required process controls and paperwork accurately.
• Ensure consistent application of stock-security procedures.
• Resolve inventory-control issues and escalate them as required.
• Identify and report discrepancies to Management according to defined processes.
• Comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including food-safety requirements.
• Follow the First In, First Out process.
• Maintain good time management.
• Supervise warehouse staff and maintain a productive working environment.
