About The Position

Custom Assembly, Inc. specializes in the assembly, warehousing, and distribution of recreational vehicles. The Yard Jockey assists with moving and spotting equipment to support warehouse operations, with careful attention to customer vehicles and the goal of having showroom-ready vehicles available to dealers. This is a direct-hire, full-time, first-shift position, scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with possible overtime. The position is home daily; no CDL is required. The employee may also work as a warehouse associate at times.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively.
• Work in varying weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
• Be flexible about working as a warehouse associate when needed.
• No CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dock workers with loading and unloading trailers.
• Transport trailers between the yard and dock doors.
• Read and maintain the product schedule to determine which materials to transport within the assigned yard.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and moved safely.
• Move and spot equipment to meet warehouse needs.
• Conduct daily inspections and coordinate daily schedules with the maintenance team.
• Handle customer vehicles carefully.
