About The Position

Custom Assembly, Inc., a family-run organization in business for more than 30 years, specializes in assembling, warehousing, and distributing recreational vehicles. The Warehouse/Yard Jockey moves and spots equipment to support warehouse operations and helps ensure customer vehicles are showroom-floor ready for dealers. The role involves moving equipment, performing daily inspections, and coordinating with the maintenance team. This is a direct-hire, full-time first-shift position, scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with possible overtime. The position is home daily and does not require a CDL.

Requirements

• No CDL is required.
• Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
• Must be flexible about working as a warehouse associate at times.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must handle customers' vehicles with care and close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist dock workers with loading and unloading trailers.
• Transport trailers between the yard and dock doors.
• Read and maintain the product schedule to determine which materials to transport within the assigned yard.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and moved safely.
• Move and spot equipment to meet warehouse needs.
• Conduct daily inspections and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Work as a warehouse associate when needed.
