About The Position

McKesson’s Distribution Center is hiring warehouse associates to support efficient and accurate order fulfillment so healthcare products are shipped quickly to customers. The role is entry-level and includes on-the-job training to certify employees to operate power industrial equipment, perform specialized processes, and operate advanced automation. Associates must be able to work in a refrigerated environment and handle physically demanding work throughout their shift.

The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 11:30 AM and running until 8:00 PM or until the shift is complete. Available shifts may change and will be discussed during the interview. The hourly rate is $20.80. Material handlers eligible for the company incentive plan may earn additional performance-based incentive pay, with top performers earning up to approximately $1.75 per hour. During periods of high demand, employees may need to work beyond scheduled hours; schedules are generally shared two weeks in advance.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience.
• Able to walk up to 10 miles during a shift; the number of steps varies by shift.
• Able to repeatedly lift 20 to 50 pounds throughout a shift without assistance; weight varies based on product.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment of 37–42°F for at least 80% of the shift or as needed.
• Willingness to learn and operate power industrial equipment; training is provided.
