Warehouse Worker - Full Time Shifts
About The Position
McKesson is hiring entry-level warehouse associates for its distribution center in Montgomery, New York. The role focuses on efficiently and accurately fulfilling orders so healthcare products can be shipped to customers and patients. Employees receive on-the-job training and may be certified to drive power industrial equipment, perform specialized processes, and operate advanced automation. The position offers day and night shifts. The day shift starts Monday through Friday at 6:00 AM and continues until completion. The night shift starts Sunday at 4:00 PM and Monday through Thursday at 5:00 PM, continuing until completion. Starting pay is up to $20.52 per hour, increasing to $21.78 per hour after 12 months. Night shift employees receive a $1 per hour differential. Available shifts may change and will be discussed during the interview. During periods of high demand, employees may need to work beyond scheduled times; schedules are generally shared two weeks in advance.
Requirements
- Entry-level experience.
- Ability to walk up to 10 miles during a shift; the number of steps varies by shift.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 20 to 50 pounds without assistance during a shift; the weight varies by product.
Responsibilities
- Move efficiently during shifts to help ensure products are shipped quickly and accurately through effective order fulfillment.
- Complete on-the-job training and certification for power industrial equipment, specialized processes, and advanced automation.
