Warehouse Worker - Chester Springs, PA
About The Position
Ethan Allen is seeking a reliable, energetic warehouse worker to load and unload furniture and accessories on and off trucks in accordance with company procedures. The role requires good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects. The worker may also inspect furniture for quality, operate a lift truck, dolly, and barcode scanning system, and assist with unboxing furniture for inspection when needed. Holiday, evening, weekend, or overtime work may occasionally be required. The hourly rate is $18 to $20, depending on experience. Benefits are offered to support associates’ financial well-being and may be selected based on personal and family needs. Benefit availability varies by employee classification.
Requirements
- High school education.
- Some previous manual work experience, preferably in a furniture warehouse.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract whole numbers.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to inspect furniture for quality standards.
- Ability to operate a lift truck.
- Ability to operate a computer barcode system.
