About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other duties assigned by management. The work is expected to be performed professionally, courteously, reliably, and with a results-oriented approach. The standard work week is 35 to 40 hours. The associate helps customers identify and select appropriate products, maintains knowledge of fashion and trends, and supports shipments, restocking, pricing, and store presentation. The role also supports employee training, operational compliance, safety, loss prevention, point-of-sale procedures, and the store’s shrink goals. The associate keeps management informed of relevant developments and helps maintain an orderly sales environment. This position requires open availability and flexibility to meet customer and business needs, including willingness to work in multiple stores within the assigned district. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds. Extended hours may be required during critical project phases. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer-service experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work under minimal supervision, including taking charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and an interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
A proven ability to build and work as part of a team, handle responsibility, and understand the needs of the street lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and provide professional, courteous, attentive, honest, and responsive service.
Identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable assistance with product selection.
Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend suitable merchandise while maintaining company standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in monitoring and identifying loss or inconsistencies to help meet shrink goals.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support training employees in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Help minimize inventory shrinkage by protecting against shoplifting and internal theft and following loss-prevention and security procedures.
Follow proper point-of-sale procedures, balance money received during an assignment, and work with management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and information needed for effective management.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
