About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Tech in Carencro, Louisiana. The role pays $14.00 per hour with weekly pay and offers direct-hire employment, career-growth opportunities, benefits, and a secure work environment. The company is willing to train candidates. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, either 6 a.m.–5 p.m. or 6 p.m.–5 a.m., with four days on and three days off. Full-time work is offered. Work may take place inside or outside, in varying building and weather conditions. The job involves extensive walking or standing, going up and down stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, and carrying items generally weighing 50 pounds or less. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other waste from designated gaylords and bins.
Clean flooring surfaces by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Ensure cleaning chemicals are properly labeled, diluted, and used.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing projects to improve business-wide effectiveness and efficiency.
Follow and enforce Sizemore’s and the client’s policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
