Housekeeping/EVS Tech - Evenings - La Jolla
About The Position
The Housekeeping/EVS Tech supports environmental care at Scripps Memorial campus in La Jolla. The housekeeping team cleans patient-care and non-patient-care areas, provides linen service, removes waste and sharps containers, sets up and breaks down meetings and events, and performs infection control and sanitation. The role uses technical, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. The employee follows established policies and practices to comply with the Joint Commission, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements, and demonstrates a work style that reflects the organization’s mission, philosophy, and goals. This is a full-time position with an evening shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and a varied schedule that includes weekends.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality.
- Extensive customer service experience and a desire to provide the highest quality of service.
