About The Position
La Siesta Resort & Marina is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Housekeeping Houseperson to support the housekeeping department and help provide guests with a clean, welcoming, comfortable environment. The role includes delivering linens and supplies to guest rooms, maintaining housekeeping carts and inventory, cleaning public areas, and responding to guest requests. The Housekeeping Houseperson also supports special projects and deep-cleaning tasks, follows safety and sanitation standards, and works collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations. Candidates should be reliable, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

- Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms.
- Restock housekeeping carts and maintain supplies inventory.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including corridors, elevators, and lobbies.
- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
- Support the housekeeping team with special projects and deep-cleaning tasks.
- Follow safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to support efficient operations.
