About The Position

The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by preparing units for cleaning after guest departures efficiently and in accordance with the company’s quality standards. The role handles the resort’s linen duties and maintains the organization, cleanliness, and stock levels of department storage areas. The Houseperson also follows the company safety program and applicable OSHA regulations, including the Global Harmonized System for chemicals (GHS).

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping throughout the resort to maintain cleanliness and a clean environment for guests.
• Assist the housekeeping team with supplies, deliver linen, paper products, and unit amenities, strip and make beds, and assist with cleaning as needed.
• Remove trash from units and floors.
• Coordinate and prepare linen and amenities bags.
• Receive, sort, fold, and collect soiled linen.
• Organize, clean, and maintain department storage areas and stock levels in accordance with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Deliver requested items to guest units, such as irons, coffee, paper products, and kitchen utensils.
• Follow the company safety program and applicable OSHA and GHS regulations.
