About The Position

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the housekeeping department at La Siesta Resort & Marina by delivering linens and supplies, restocking housekeeping carts, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas and assigned spaces. The role includes responding to guest requests, assisting with special projects and deep-cleaning tasks, and following safety and sanitation standards. The Housekeeping Houseperson works collaboratively with the housekeeping team to help provide guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including corridors, elevators, and lobbies.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Respond promptly and in a friendly manner to guest requests and inquiries.
• Support the housekeeping team with special projects and deep-cleaning tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards to provide a safe and healthy environment.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
