About The Position
Sizemore, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Tech in Carencro, Louisiana. The position offers $14.00 per hour, weekly pay on Fridays, and direct hire employment with opportunities for career growth. Day and overnight schedules are available: Sunday through Wednesday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Sunday through Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. The employer is willing to train suitable candidates and describes the work environment as secure and safe. Full-time work is offered, with a four-days-on, three-days-off schedule. A seven-year background check and drug test are conducted before employment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. The work involves cleaning and janitorial duties in warehouse facilities, handling packing waste, operating and maintaining cleaning and waste-processing equipment, and following company and client policies. Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying building and weather conditions. Employees may be required to work overtime and should expect extensive walking or standing, stair use, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting or carrying items generally weighing 50 pounds or less.

Responsibilities
- Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other waste from designated gaylords and bins.
- Clean flooring surfaces by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are properly labeled, diluted, and used.
- Maintain janitorial equipment in clean, safe, and operable condition.
- Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement projects to improve business-wide effectiveness and efficiency.
- Abide by and enforce Sizemore’s and the client’s policies and procedures.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
