About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead works under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and oversees unloading incoming product. The role organizes and restocks warehouse inventory, trains and supports teammates, and can fill in for warehouse positions. The team lead helps manage staffing, productivity, safety, and workplace conflict, and responds to after-hours alarms. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

Ability to express ideas clearly in written and oral communications.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds continuously.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of supervisor experience, equivalent education, or completion of the K&M University training program.

Unload incoming product and verify it against the packing slip.
Put product in its designated location and ensure it is restocked daily.
Track each teammate’s productivity and hold teammates accountable for reaching goals.
Manage and resolve workplace conflict using company values as a guide.
Notify and work with the Warehouse Manager on work that needs to be completed or improved.
Work with the Warehouse Manager on staffing needs.
Ensure everyone follows safety rules and enforce company policies and procedures.
Maintain and post a to-do list for each area so team members know what needs attention and when it must be done.
Respond to after-hours alarms.
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
Keep warehouse errors resulting in missed shipments to 10 or fewer per month.
Ensure product is in its designated location and warehouse layouts are updated within 1–2 weeks of receiving product.
Increase and maximize employee productivity.
Unload all product within one day of its arrival on the lot.
