About The Position

The Warehouse Support role assists with daily operations by supporting warehouse and transportation functions as needed. The position helps ensure efficient workflow by handling packages, assisting with route coverage, parking vehicles, and fueling trucks. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 4:00 PM start; variable shifts may be required based on business needs. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. The listed pay range is $25.00–$31.75 per hour, based on experience, with starting pay determined by relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity. This is a full-time, nonexempt position.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record that meets company standards.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Be able to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
• Be able to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.
• Be able to operate a manual transmission or be willing to learn.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in leadership and the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with parking and fueling vehicles.
• Cover routes when needed.
• Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and other management to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage the security of the yard and building.
• Assist in stacking and sorting freight to ensure its flow.
• Cover various shifts as needed.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
