About The Position

The Warehouse Support role assists with daily operations by supporting warehouse and transportation functions as needed. The position helps maintain efficient workflow by handling packages, assisting with route coverage when needed, parking vehicles, and fueling trucks. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 10:00 PM start; employees may be expected to cover variable shifts based on business needs. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. The hourly pay range is $25.00–$31.75, based on experience, with starting pay determined by relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record that meets company standards.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Be able to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
• Be able to operate a manual transmission or be willing to learn.
• Be able to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience in leadership and the transportation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with parking and fueling vehicles.
• Cover routes when needed.
• Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and other management to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage the security of the yard and building.
• Assist in stacking and sorting freight to ensure its flow.
• Cover various shifts as needed.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
