About The Position

Curtis Lumber is seeking a Warehouse Support associate to move products and materials throughout the warehouse and store, including handling incoming and outgoing merchandise and materials. The role supports customer and business needs through product procurement and replenishment, merchandising, inventory activities, and accurate preparation of products for delivery or shipment. The position is full-time, with 40 or more hours per week, and offers an hourly rate of $19–$21 with annual performance-based raises.

Requirements

Background in warehouse organization.
Comfort operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

Move products and materials throughout the warehouse and store, including shipping and receiving merchandise and materials.
Work to meet prospective customer and business needs.
Participate in procurement and replenishment of product.
Practice good merchandising, including setup and traffic flow, and rotate stock.
Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts.
Follow receiving policies and procedures.
Load and unload materials; tally and check orders for shortages, overages, or other shipment errors.
Place and store materials in appropriate areas to provide quick and easy access for pickup.
Match invoices to purchase orders and label them accordingly.
Label special-order merchandise with the customer name and PO number.
Pull and/or prepare products for delivery or shipment, ensuring accuracy.
Load customers with distribution merchandise.
Complete paperwork accurately and promptly to support inventory control.
