About The Position

The Warehouse Support role assists with daily operations by supporting warehouse and transportation functions as needed. The position helps ensure efficient workflow by handling packages, assisting with route coverage when needed, parking vehicles, and fueling trucks. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 1:00 PM start; variable shifts may be required based on business needs. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. Pay is $24.00–$26.00 per hour based on experience, plus shift differential.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record meeting company standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The role requires the ability to pass a DOT physical exam, lift and move freight weighing up to 75 pounds, and work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals. Applicants must also pass pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission or willingness to learn.
• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in leadership and the transportation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with parking and fueling vehicles.
• Cover routes when needed.
• Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and other management to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage security of the yard and building.
• Assist in stacking and sorting to ensure the flow of freight.
• Cover various shifts as needed.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
