About The Position

The Warehouse Support role assists with daily operations by supporting warehouse and transportation functions as needed. The position helps maintain efficient workflow by handling packages, covering routes when needed, parking vehicles, and fueling trucks. Work schedules include Monday–Friday shifts starting at either 4:00 PM or 10:00 PM, with possible variable-shift coverage based on business needs. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. The stated pay range is $25.00–$31.75 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record that meets company standards.
• Be able to operate a manual transmission or be willing to learn.
• Be able to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Be able to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in leadership and the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with parking and fueling vehicles.
• Cover routes when needed.
• Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and other management to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage security of the yard and building.
• Assist in stacking and sorting freight to ensure its flow.
• Cover various shifts as needed.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
