About The Position

The Warehouse Support role assists with daily operations by supporting warehouse and transportation functions as needed. The position helps ensure efficient workflow by handling packages, assisting with route coverage when needed, parking vehicles, and fueling trucks. Available shifts are Monday through Friday with either a 4:00 PM or 10:00 PM start; employees may be expected to cover variable shifts based on business needs. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. The pay range is $25.00–$31.75 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity. The position is full-time, pay grade G, and nonexempt.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record meeting company standards, and be able to pass a DOT physical exam. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. One or more years of leadership and transportation industry experience is preferred. Applicants must also pass pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record that meets company standards.
• Be able to operate a manual transmission or be willing to learn.
• Be able to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Be able to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist with parking and fueling vehicles.
• Cover routes when needed.
• Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and other management to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage the security of the yard and building.
• Assist in stacking and sorting to ensure the flow of freight.
• Cover various shifts as needed.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
