About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising personnel receiving product, pulling orders, loading trucks for next-day delivery, and processing product-delivery paperwork. The role works as a team member within the department and organization and performs other duties as assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6 a.m. and continuing until the work is completed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of warehouse or related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or two-year technical degree in business management, logistics, or a related area.
• 4–6 years of warehouse experience in the foodservice industry.
• Supervisory experience.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise administrative staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, guidance, establishing job standards, and evaluating performance.
• Ensure orders are pulled accurately, completely, and on time during the shift.
• Ensure orders are loaded in full and in the correct stop sequence on assigned trucks and trailers, and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure received products are stocked properly and first-in/first-out stock-rotation procedures are followed.
• Promote service quality by example and ensure associates understand their roles in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Coordinate pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
• Use the company’s warehouse management system and other available technologies to maximize productivity.
• Analyze warehouse productivity and recommend appropriate operational changes.
• Handle building security, including locking the warehouse and setting alarms after the night shift.
• Ensure safe operation of material-handling equipment and comply with company health and safety programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
