About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor directly supervises Warehouse Department employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; scheduling and managing overtime; appraising performance; disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, including product received from the floor and outside vendors, and managing housekeeping in the dock area. The supervisor also ensures product quality and safety processes are followed consistently, promotes a safe work environment, follows Tyson Foods safety and policy procedures, and performs other duties as needed. The role involves regular exposure to extreme cold, occasional exposure to vibration, and a usually loud work environment. Some travel may be required to attend training classes. Relocation assistance is eligible. The position is based in the United States, and sponsorship is not available. Applicants must submit a resume. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, or three years of work experience in a relevant position in food manufacturing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and the ability to lead others.
Must reside in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
At least one year of warehousing experience preferred.
At least one year of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
Basic computer skills preferred but not required.
Some travel may be required to attend training classes.
