About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor plans and executes daily staffing requirements for the current day and week while keeping overtime to a minimum. The role leads daily shift meetings to communicate safety and operational information, gather suggestions, and answer questions. The supervisor assigns work to warehouse employees and manages workflows to meet safety, service, productivity, and reliability requirements. The role also trains, supports, and directs employees on standard operating procedures and maintains statistics related to employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment. Other projects or duties may be assigned.

The regular swing-shift schedule is 12:00 PM–9:00 PM. The supervisor must be flexible to work alternate shifts, including 4:00 AM–4:00 PM and 4:00 PM–4:00 AM, as needed to cover other Warehouse Supervisors.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 3 to 5+ years of warehouse experience, with 0 to 1+ years of people leadership experience; or high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of warehouse experience, with 2 to 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Flexibility to work alternate shifts as needed to provide coverage for other Warehouse Supervisors.

• Assign daily work duties to warehouse workers to ensure safety, service, productivity, and reliability requirements are met.
• Manage workflows efficiently.
• Provide training, support, and direction to employees to ensure understanding of and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
