About The Position

Receives, stores, retrieves, and distributes shipments and materials within a large warehouse facility. The successful candidate performs warehouse operations, material handling, inventory activities, and the loading and unloading of materials and office equipment onto and from trucks for delivery or storage.

Requirements

Ability to function in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment while meeting the high expectations of customers and service management staff.
Self-starter capable of operating with minimal direction or supervision.
Good communication skills.
Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds.
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with various hand and power tools.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Read schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or crated.
Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, pallets, or other storage systems according to a predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Open crates and other containers.
Complete requisition forms to order supplies.
Load and unload materials and office equipment onto and from trucks for delivery or storage.
