About The Position

LKQ Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Shipping/Receiving team member to perform shipping and/or receiving work. Duties may include processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The role may also involve operating manual or powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with starting pay of $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
Ability to follow standard procedures and clear directions, using supervisor or manager guidance for assignments and priorities.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior experience with PIT equipment, such as a forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport product in and around the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Assume other duties as assigned.
