About The Position

Publix is hiring a part-time Warehouse Selector to pull products ordered by stores, place them onto pallets, wrap completed orders, and prepare them for truck delivery. Selectors use warehouse technology to identify ordered products and their locations. Compensation after training varies by output: training pay is $18.92 per hour, standard base pay after training is $23.65 per hour, and top performers may earn more than $30 per hour. Training lasts 14 to 120 days depending on productivity, safety, and work quality. Night and weekend differentials are available. Publix also provides a Holiday Bonus in November based on continuous employment and eligibility through the bonus check issue date.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Work a rotating schedule that includes some weekends and holidays.
Work fluctuating shifts when needed.
Select, lift, carry, and stack products weighing up to 67 pounds for high- and low-velocity work.
Stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive work for long periods.
Operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside the operator compartment.
Obtain pallet truck and forklift operation certification on or before the start date in the position.
Read, write, identify, and verify numbers.
Interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
Pass a Physical Agility Test before the start date in the position, as applicable.

Responsibilities

Select products ordered by Publix stores.
Place selected products onto pallets, wrap finished orders, and prepare them for truck delivery.
Use warehouse technology to identify ordered products and their locations.
Perform work efficiently, accurately, and safely.
