About The Position

Russ Davis Wholesale is hiring a Warehouse Packing Associate in Wadena, Minnesota. The role involves packing specified quantities or weights of fresh produce into bags or boxes, checking package weights, placing finished packages on a conveyor, labeling and wrapping packages for shipment, and cleaning the work table and surrounding area at the end of the shift. The employee may also perform other duties as assigned. The full-time schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The starting wage is $17.00 per hour and increases to $18.00 per hour after training on equipment. Employees can earn an additional $1.00 per hour on weekends. The work takes place in a cooler environment of approximately 35–53 degrees Fahrenheit.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be available to work the occasional weekend to cover a shift.
Desire and ability to become forklift certified; training is provided.
Must be able to work in a cooler environment of approximately 35–53 degrees Fahrenheit.
Frequently lift products weighing 25–50 pounds.
Frequently bend, squat, push, and pull.
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, including reading a scale.
Must follow instructions and respond to management directions.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test; THC does not disqualify applicants.
