About The Position

Schneider Saddlery is hiring seasonal warehouse associates to support outbound operations during its busiest time of year. Associates primarily pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and on time. The assignment runs from mid-October through early January, with full-time and part-time opportunities at the company’s fulfillment center in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

The role includes paid, hands-on training on warehouse processes, handheld scanners, and systems. Associates may also support inbound receiving, inventory handling, and replenishment depending on their experience, qualifications, and business needs. Previous warehouse, retail fulfillment, or shipping experience is helpful but not required, and horse experience is not required.

The position requires dependable attendance, the ability to maintain a productive pace, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, perform repetitive movements, and lift and move packages weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Standard full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; standard part-time hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Alternative schedules may be considered by mutual agreement and according to business needs. Additional hours, overtime, and occasional Saturday shifts may be available or required during peak weeks.

Responsibilities

• Use handheld scanners and the warehouse management system to locate and pick products accurately.
• Pack orders carefully, verify items, and prepare packages for shipment.
• Double-check order quantities, sizes, and product condition.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
• Assist teammates and move among picking, packing, and other warehouse tasks as daily volume requires.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow scanner prompts and established procedures, and speak up about potential process improvements.
• Depending on experience, qualifications, and business needs, support inbound receiving, inventory handling, and replenishment.
